Watchmen is a twelve issue comic book series this is created by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons, and John Higgins published by DC Comics in 1986 and 1987.

The Comedian

The comedian role doing by Edward Morgan Blake in this film. The Comedian initially was based on the Charlton Comics Character Peacemaker. Includes elements of Marvel Comics spy character Nick Fury.

Moore and Gibbons saw the comedian as a kind of Gordon lady character, just a big, tough Guy. Gibbons decided in his design for the comedian with a Groucho Marx-style appearance (Mustache and cigar) that the “clown” from had already been assigned by DC Comics super Villain The Joker.

Doctor Manhattan

Dr. Jonathan “Jon” Osterman is a physicist who was transformed into a blue-skinned deity in 1959 after a breakdown in an internal field substrate.

He returned to the chamber to retrieve his girlfriend’s watch (Which he had repaired) and was accidentally locked inside when the subtractor started automatically.

June was blown up atoms, nothing was left in her body. Within a few months, he regained consciousness and regained his physical body. After his resurrections, he was immediately hired by the US government, which remained him Dr. Manhattan after the Manhattan project.

He is the only character in the story who owns the real superpowers.

Nite Owl

He (Daniel Dreiberg) is a superhero who uses owl themed gadgets, which is why Dave Gibbons called him “a fanatic a comedian, a fan by”.

He was partly based on the Ted Cord version of the Charlton superhero Blue Beetle. Like Ted Cord’s predecessor, Moore added an earlier adventurer who used the name “Nite Owl”, retired crime fighter Holmes Mason, to join watchmen.

Ozymandias

Ozymandias (Adrian veidt) was a former superhero who is inspired by his hero Alexander the Great and the Alexander the Great and the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramesses II, For whom he is named.

He inherited a fortune, but gave it up to see if he could succeed on his own. Ozymandias himself traced Alexander’s path. he retired early from watchman to focus on running his organization.

Rorschach

He is a private detective themed watchman wearing a white mask with ink stains.

continues to fight crime despite its illegal status, eventfully making it to the FBI’s Top 10 most wanted list. He was born Walter Covacs, then son of prostitute whose last name his mother never bothered to learn, and he spent most of his childhood in the home of troubled teenagers, after which he made a garment.

Started working in the factory. After reading out the Kitty murder and the complete indifference of the witnesses to crime, to make a mask and become a janitor. Eventually forming a fruitful partnership with Nite.

Silk Specter

Lori Josepzek is Sally jupiter, the first daughter of silk soecter. Lori’s mother apparently wanted him to follow in her footsteps, so she fought the crime for ten years, before the Kenny Act banned watchmen.

Unlike the other main characters, Silk Specter was not based on any particular, although his relationship with Dr. Manhattan is similar to that between Captain Atom and Heroin Nightshade. Moore felt the need for a female here in the cast and was inspired by comic book heroines such as Black Canary and Phantom lady.
